Rule-Mate Automatic pumps are built for autonomous duty, continuous operation with a backup feature that will switch the pump from continuous automatic to 2.5 minute alternating operation if the sensor fails or becomes fouled. Back flow prevention, thermal cut off protection and air vents to prevent airlock remain core design features with the revision of the 500G-1100G models while still reducing the size of the pump unit by a third and increasing the flow by roughly 10% over previous models of the Rule-Mate Series.
The strainer remains clip-on for easy maintenance and the hose is now threaded to allow easier installation.
