The March Model LC-3CP-MD is an American submersible seal-less centrifugal magnetic drive pump and is standard equipment on a majority of smaller systems up to 24,000 BTU. The magnetic drive design eliminates the conventional seal found in most pumps, reducing the chance for leaks. The epoxy encapsulated motor allows the pump to be fully submerged; you can also choose to use not submerged. It is capable of generating a maximum flow of 8.5 Gallons per minute at 4 foot, and its maximum head is 19 Foot (8psi). It is available in 115 or 230 VAC 50/60 Hz. The standard pump wet end (the materials that come into contact with the solution) is composed of Polypropylene (Front and Rear Housing, Impeller), Cupric Nickel (Cooling Tube), Buna N (O-Ring, Cooling Tube Seal), Ceramic (Shaft, Thrust Washer), Ceramic Magnet. Pump head (wet end) kits are available and easy to replace with only a screwdriver (please contact us if kits are needed)
The standard motor is a 1 Phase 115V or 230V 0.05 Horsepower motor, which can be run on either 50 or 60 hertz (there are performance differences between the hertz options). The pump can tolerate a maximum internal pressure of 25psi, and a maximum liquid temperature of 130 Fahrenheit or 54 Celsius. The March LC-3CP-MD centrifugal magnetic drive pump is capable of handling fresh water, salt water, and mild chemicals.
