The March Model AC-5C-MD is an American seal-less centrifugal magnetic drive pump used on cooling systems up to 48,000 BTU. The magnetic drive design eliminates the conventional seal found in most pumps, reducing the chance for leaks. It is capable of generating a maximum flow of 17 Gallons per minute at 1 foot, and its maximum head is 27 Foot (11.7psi). It is available in 115 or 230 VAC 50/60 Hz. The standard pump wet end (the materials that come into contact with the solution) is composed of Polypropylene (Front and Rear Housing, Impeller), Buna N (O-Ring), Ceramic (Shaft, Thrust Washers), Ceramic Magnet. Pump head (wet end) kits are available and easy to replace with only a screwdriver (please contact us if kits are needed)
The standard motor(s) are a 1 Phase 115V 0.125HP Air Cooled motor or 1PH 230V Air Cooled motor, which can be run on either 50 or 60 hertz (there are performance differences between the hertz options). The pump can tolerate a maximum internal pressure of 50 psi, and a maximum liquid temperature of 190 Fahrenheit or 87 Celsius. The March AC-5C-MD centrifugal magnetic drive pump is capable of handling fresh water, salt water, and chemicals, acids or solvents. If unsure of being suitable for your specific application, or any other questions before placing your order, please contact us for further assistance.
