The March Model TE-5.5C-MD is an American submersible seal-less centrifugal magnetic drive pump and is standard equipment on a majority of smaller systems up to 72,000 BTU. The magnetic drive design eliminates the conventional seal found in most pumps, reducing the chance for leaks. It is capable of generating a maximum flow of 30 Gallons per minute at 11 foot, and its maximum head is 41 Foot (18psi). It is available in 115 or 230 VAC 50/60 Hz. The standard pump wet end (the materials that come into contact with the solution) is composed of Polypropylene (Front and Rear Housing, Impeller), Vitron (O-Ring), Ceramic (Shaft, Thrust Washers). Pump head (wet end) kits are available and easy to replace with only a screwdriver (please contact us if kits are needed)
The standard motor is a 1 Phase 115V or 230V 0.125 Horsepower motor, which can be run on either 50 or 60 hertz (there are performance differences between the hertz options). The pump can tolerate a maximum internal pressure of 50 psi, and a maximum liquid temperature of 190 Fahrenheit or 87 Celsius. The March TE-5.5C-MD centrifugal magnetic drive pump is capable of handling fresh water, salt water, chemicals, acids or solvents.
